Some more cute pics of Afton

I've been meaning to post the pics for a while now, but never finished doing it. Afton is getting cuter by the day. Yesterday, we spent about 20 minutes making faces in the bathroom mirror. She even tried to touch her reflection. It was really cute. She's starting to smile more and more. She had her 2 month check up and is now officially 10 lbs. She only grew 1/4 inch which I have a hard time believing. That puts her at 20 3/4 inches long, which is in the 25th percentile. Who would have guessed we could produce a short baby! :) For the most part, she's sleeping through the night which is awesome!

Anyways, I'm just trying to pack things up for moving on Saturday. Yikes!

What a surprise

I was reading CNN the other day. (Okay, so I was really bored.) I saw this story.

Really. CNN, of all the places, has to tell me that Indiana Jones isn't real archeology. Wow! I never would have guessed on my own. You mean to tell me that real archaeologists don't carry whips, revolvers, and leather coats, wear fedoras, and stop Nazis (and now Soviets) from capturing priceless religious artifacts?

Okay. Enough with the sarcasm, but it brings up another point. Does anyone think that archeology is like that? And why does CNN feel it's their job to correct anyone who's that out of touch?

I hope this looks familiar. As a Mother's Day Tribute, I present this hymn. It's one of the hymns that Mom made us sing when we argued with each other. I flipped past it today in church, and the memories all came flooding back.

Post Pregnancy Imbalance

Ok, so my equilibrium is way off. I never realized until I started playing volleyball again. I can't jump anymore, at least not straight up and down. Hopefully it will get better. I'm not used to playing so off. My game tonight was really depressing. I was off on everything, but oh well, it was still fun.
