Afton's first spoon

Afton got to eat her first meal from a spoon tonight. We had put her down, but she woke up, and Tracy wasn't going to pass up an opportunity to get more cute pictures.

Roll Over, Roll Over

Afton Rolls Over!
We had a nasty storm tonight, I'd call it "Tropical" in intensity, and it woke up Afton. Since she was up, Tracy put her on our bed and gave her some tummy time. We did some "roll coaching" and got this! Yes, I made it easy by putting her arm under her, but I was working for the shot! Would you rather not have this video?

Here's an excited Tracy celebrating Afton's victory.

Afton Pics

So Afton had her doctors appointment today and had to get 3 shots. Man, I hate that part. She takes it pretty well for the most part. She now weighs.... 11 and a half pounds. She dropped from the 50th percentile in weight to the 11th percentile. The doc isn't worried so I'm not. On a good note, Afton has gone from being the midget baby (25th percentile) to the petite baby (31st percentile). I have no fear that she will be able to catch up! :0) Although she does have a big head (she takes after Joe in that dept.) Her head is in the 60th percentile. She also ate her first rice cereal mixture. I think she spit up a good chunk, but it was still cool. Its weird to think she will be able to start solids soon. We actually will need a high chair soon.

Anyways, I have a job interview with Outback tomorrow so hopefully I will get this job. Nothing else is turning up unfortunately. Something is better than nothing. Well, pics are below!

Ouch!

This morning we had a ward pioneer activity. I got hurt playing a game and the Elders Quorum president said, "Its not a ward activity unless Joe gets hurt." Thanks, Adam. Its true, though. Every time I've been hurt since I moved here, its been in a church (or scouting) activity.

Afton rolled over yesterday! Actually, She rolled over twice, once while I was a work and once when I was at home! There's another milestone!

Here's a cute little short:

Knee injury

I had my appointment, and I got a referral to an orthopedic specialist. My doctor thinks that it's a torn meniscus. I'm not sure so much. Either way, my kneecap moves around some, and it still hurts, so I'm hoping this appointment will end up with a solid solution that'll give me a solid knee again.

I'm going crazy. I'm not allowed to bike, climb, run, or pretty much anything. I'm supposed to rest and keep it elevated. You know, RICE.
